please respond to this post with a reference-The evolving nature of healthcare industry and emergence of new innovative ways of ensuring that patients are provided with adequate, reliable, safe, and cost-effective medical care has prompted the need for nurse leaders to ensure that they implement innovative care models that aligns with the care needs. Implementation of the innovative care models will help ascertain enhancement and improvement of patient wellbeing which will result to positive health outcomes. Nurse leaders have an integral role in ensuring implementation of innovative healthcare models through communicating to the healthcare providers on the innovative care model that would be implemented in the organization. Nurse leaders also have the role of ensuring that nursing professionals are educated and trained on how the innovative care model will be used to ascertain positive health outcomes. Nurse leaders also have the role of creating environments and opportunities for staff innovation and ensuring that they are well equipped to use the innovative technologies (Edwards et al., 2018). Another role involves communicating the expectations of the model to the nursing professionals to ensure their commitment and acceptability of the innovative technology.
Innovative models of care affect collaboration between advanced registered nurses and other stakeholders in the industry especially when the ARNs were not informed or communicated that an innovative care model would be implemented in the organization. This will affect their collaboration with other stakeholders in the industry such as the healthcare leaders since they might resist the implementation of the innovative care model in the organization. Another way in which innovative modes of care impact collaboration of ARNs and other stakeholders such as the patients is that they would help ensure that patients are aware on how the innovative modes of care would help improve their health status therefore, they would get involved in the plan of care leading to their improved health status (Cacchione, 2020).
