Please respond to the following:

Go to the CDC’s Recommended Vaccines by Age web page and review the vaccination protocols recommended by the U.S. government.
Analyze three different types of children’s vaccinations in terms of the economic cost to the United States. Based on your analysis, recommend at least three measures to better disseminate vaccinations to the public, and provide a rationale for your recommendations.
Be sure to respond to at least one of your classmates’ posts.

Also Respond to Classmate below:

According to the center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the cost of all vaccines by 18 months is about $1,200 through CDC-subsidized programs and $1,600 through the private sector. Although the CDC prices are very economical, the purchase of children vaccines comes through the private sector and are very expensive, and mostly unaffordable for parents.

Three types of children vaccination in terms of economic cost comes through the Patient Assistant Program (PAP)

. Gardasil-9 (human papilloma virus vaccine, recombinant)

. Menactra (Meningococcal conjugate vaccine)

. Prevnar-13 (Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine)

There are many federal assistance programs that offer free vaccinations for children, and some that charge a small administration fee, ranging from $5 to $15 per vaccine or visit. Others waive the cost entirely for the families who fall beneath a certain annual income level, measured by the annual Federal Poverty Level or (FPL).

There are the “Vaccine for Children” program (VFC). If the family is uninsured, or underinsured this program is designed to provide vaccines at no cost to children most in need, through their doctors who participate in this program.
Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which covers many childhood vaccines, CHIP provides low-cost coverage to children of families that earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid.
Some manufactures offer the “Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) to qualified families, most are based on annual income that range from four to five times the annual Family Poverty Level (FPL).
Cost for children vaccines can vary dramatically. Medicaid paid for my son medications and vaccinations, because of my low-income bracket. There are also online tools that can also help in locating low cost or free vaccines, such as the “HealthMap Vaccine Locator”, which uses your zip code to locate all relevant clinics, pharmacies and health centers that offers free or low-cost vaccination services.
