Research Reflection Journal (RRJ) # 4
Due date: Complete by Friday by midnight.
Every week you will be asked to discuss what you have read. Here are the criteria: Minimum 450-500 words. Use the same terminology found in the textbooks or reading material; answer the prompts below. Then reflect on what you want to accomplish when conducting observations for your primary research. Make sure all your posts are free from grammatical and spelling errors.
Here is the reflection topic for this week: Please discuss your research experience thus far: Include in your initial post the following information:
Your topic, introduction, and your research questions.
How have you implemented your Critical Annotated BibliographyInformation into the next assignment?
How helpful was this preliminary assignment as scaffolding for theBroader Community Study?
What would that be if you had to change one thing in your research process? and why?
If you had to give someone advice on conducting research, from what you have learned so far, what would be your suggestions?
By now, you are well into investigating your issue. This week you revise your Critical Annotated Bibliography (CAB). As you have read information, articles, viewed images, websites, speeches, and videos, what is the common theme you see while conducting your research? Have you included this in your own research? If not, consider adding a research section to address the common theme. Also, review your sources. Are there any gaps that should be addressed in the CAB? For example, do you have articles that address the logos of the research, pathos to present the human element of the issue, and ethos to present the ethics and experts on the issue? Benefit: This reflection should also help you examine your selection of a source for your topic. You may use any material here to add to the completion of Module 4: Broader Community Study’s section–References.
