Research paper that compares and contrasts the experiences of male and female slaves in the ninetenth century south. Please DO NOT use any outside sources. The only two sources you will use are the Frederick Douglass narrative and the Deborah Gray book. I have both of those documents attached for you as a pdf. You must use both of these sources to write this paper as you will need to use them as evidence to support your claims. I also have attached a photo of how the paper needs to be structured. The first paragraph will introduce your thesis arguing the differences between male and female slaves. Then in the next two paragraphs you will talk about the types of work for male and female slaves. One paragraph discussing the work for men and one paragraph discussing the work for women. In the next two paragraphs after that, you will discuss the different types of rebellion that male and female slaves exhibited. One paragraph for men and another for women. In the next two paragraphs following types of rebellion, you will talk about the different types of punishments that male and female slaves received. One paragraph discussing the punishment for male slaves and another paragraph discussing the punishment for female slaves. After that, you will write a conlusion paragraph summarizing male and female slaves. Footnotes are required and please do not use any parenthetical citations. Thank you!
