Research an architect or firm you’ve learned about through either the readings, lecture, or videos covering Modernism, Postmodernism, Contemporary or Green Architecture. Write a paper describing a building this firm designed, including its location, site strategy, architectural achievements, design strategy, and any other significant features of note. This building may NOT be one we have already studied. What is it about the building that is significant to you? This can be a positive or negative opinion. What has made an impression on you? What do YOU appreciate about this building? Please stick to the questions asked of you, rather than giving a historical summary of the building. I am more interested in knowing how you formed an opinion about this building and knowing about the specific architectural features (this is very important to include!) that led you to form your opinion. Keep in mind that any form of plagiarism is not accepted in this class. Your writing must be your own and you must provide accurate sources for citing specific material. Please find at least one non-internet source for your paper. This paper should be approximately 3-4 pages in length and should be edited and spell-checked. Keep in mind that your ideas are what are most important to convey; however, your grammar and spelling should not be a distraction to expressing your ideas.
