Outline for Final Paper

Prior to beginning work on this assignment, read the instructions for the final Terrorism Cybercrime Investigation Paper in Week Six, the  MSCJ CyberNav Communication Case Study Download MSCJ CyberNav Communication Case Study, and review the sample outline handout (Links to an external site.) from the UAGC Writing Center to aid in your preparation of your outline.

Research a minimum of four scholarly and/or professional sources related to the topics presented in the Case Study. Be sure to support the various sections of your outline with evidence from your researched sources.

Include the following elements in your outline paper:

  • Identify your chosen agency (FBI, CIA, U.S. Air Force, State Police, or County Sherriff).
    • Briefly explain how the agency would have jurisdiction over this criminal case.
  • List potential key witnesses.
  • Briefly describe the technical aspects of the case study.
  • List the possible defendants.
  • Identify two legal issues related to the case.
  • Suggest potential defenses for those charged in the case.
  • Identify the potential crimes related to the scenario.

The Outline for the Final Paper

  • Must be three to five double-spaced pages (750-1250 words) in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the UAGC Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
  • Must include a separate title page with the following:
    • Title of paper
    • Student’s name
    • Course name and number
    • Instructor’s name
    • Date submitted
  • Must use at least four scholarly sources in addition to the course text.
  • Must document all sources in APA style as outlined in the UAGC Writing Center.
  • Must include a separate references page that is formatted according to APA style as outlined in the UAGC Writing Center.
