The Bible encourages us to be excellent in everything we do. Writing to the Christians in Corinth, the Apostle Paul said: “But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.” (2 Corinthians 8:7). Paul went on to write to the Christians in Ephesus: “Rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.” (Ephesians 6:7-8)
Reflect upon these verses and how they can be applied in your life personally and professionally.
