To Prepare
Refer to the “Population-Focused Nurse Practitioner Competencies” ( SEE ATTACHMENT) and consider the quality measures or indicators advanced practice nurses must possess in your specialty. (PMHNP)
Refer to your “Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form” you submitted in Week 1 and consider your strengths and opportunities for improvement. (SEE ATTACHMENT)
consider the patient activities you have experienced in your practicum experience and reflect on your observations and experiences.
Learning From Experiences write about the following:
(1). Revisit the goals and objectives from your Practicum Experience Plan. Explain the degree to which you achieved each during the practicum experience. (SEE ATTACHMENT)
(2). Reflect on the 3 most challenging patients you encountered during the practicum experience. (A) TREATING A PREGNANT WOMAN WITH BIPOLAR, (B) TREATING A 70 Y.O WITH PSYCHOSIS AND DEMANTIA. (C) TREATING A 9 Y.O WITH ADHD AND ALSO SAW HER MOTHER KILLED. (PLEASE MAKE UP SOMETHING ABOUT THESE 3 CASES-THANKS. (2a).What was most challenging about each?
