The Learning Journal should be updated regularly (on a weekly basis), as the learning journals will be assessed by your instructor as part of your Final Grade.
In Chapter 1.5 Trends and Changes in Organizational Behavior, ethical challenges in business organizations are discussed. Ethical challenges may compromise the integrity of an organization. Some examples of unethical organizational issues may include misrepresentation of a product or service, negligence of workers, or workplace harassment.
Reflect on your place of work or experiences in academics (school or university). Share an ethical dilemma you have observed at work or at school. This could have been a situation directed at a coworker, another student, or yourself. What do you think should have been done differently? Explain why.
If you can’t think of an unethical situation that you have experienced, make up a hypothetical situation and explain what should have been done differently and why.
Be sure that your Learning Journal entry is a minimum of 400 words and not more than 700 words.
You will be assessed using the rubric below.
