The book will be the very last book on the home page. Read Chapter 6, Chapter 10, Chapter 8 & Chapter 16. Take Cornell notes. Please notate the notes by sections. For example, Section 6-1 : Notes under Notes & please add questions you have throughout the chapter under Cue like displayed in examples, so on and so forth. Then for summary, summarize the entire chapter rather than just the sections. Therefore, there should be 4 templates in total. One template for Chapter 6, one for Chapter 10, one for Chapter 8 & one for Chapter 16. Attached is a Cornell notes template you can utilize for the assignment. The file name is Cornell Notes MGMT 402. If you are unfamiliar with Cornell notes, please watch the videos below to explain how it should be done.

● Active summarizing. In order to summarize a topic, you need to have a certain level of understanding. This note-taking method prompts you to get there
● Intentional note-taking. Cornell notes encourage mindfulness and focus when taking notes. You have to pull out key points and reflect on the material, instead
To understand why CN is effective and how it works, it is necessary to read or watch the material for the following links:

● After reading each of the designated textbook’s chapters, it is suggested that, using the Cornell Notes (CNs) method, each team member individually compiles his/her own notes. Then the team should meet to compare notes, as well as compile one (1) team CNs submission for the designated chapter. This should not be one big file witheveryone’s notes inserted separately. This assignment should be one formatted CNs which integrates all of your team members’ relevant notes. CNs are a summary of your readings – – it should not be a rambling list of what every team member wrote, instead it should be a
thoughtful, concise compilation of the important elements of the chapter, nor should it be a regurgitation of the chapter’s margin notes. Remember, this is not a chapter outline! CNs will be graded based on how well developed they are, as well as how well the assignment links to chapter learning objectives and the insightfulness of cues/notes.

For the first CNs submissions, teams will be given an opportunity to improve their grade of the first CNs assignment by revising and re-submitting these CNs for partial credit. If your team decides to re-submit this assignment, the re-submission grade will be your grade for this first CNs assignment.
I also submitted an example of Cornell notes done by one of you guys before that I scored perfect on. Please reflect on that example if need be. It will be located under file 400125732.
