I am going to touch on the role of high policing in this and how many individuals involved were warned by csis of their lives being at risk but they couldn’t provide any safety to these citizens. Thus also relating to the police metier. As we also compared the marxist view of policing and the consensus approach. People can argue that this case once again puts the minorities’ lives on the side and puts the permanent government’s wants and needs in priority. This case can also show how Sikhs and minorities are then falsely made the dominant fear of the government and elite classes. As “Sikh extremists” were falsely labelled by the rcmp as a terrorist group in canada a few years ago.
i would like to also focus this paper arround the killing of hardeep singh nijjar in canada and how this event is causing an issue in canadian policing – the canadian police not investigating enough
