Book: Currency War, Chapter 4 – Currency War 1 introduced a new GOLD STANDARD – the Gold Exchange Standard – which was different from the Classical Gold Standard analyzed in chapter 3.

Please explain how this Bretton Wood system worked, how this system was linked to the US dollar, and how this link affected the US dollar to the point that – again – this gold standard brought Currency War II to the US.
