Essay Prompt: What role have awareness and boredom played in your life thus far, and how might changing your perspective on them be beneficial?
Respond to this prompt by completing the following steps:
1) Carefully consider the ideas on boredom presented in Perri Klass’s article “BoredomLinks to an external site..”
2) Use note-taking, freewriting, and brainstorming in order to identify your perspective and thoughts on this topic.
3) Compose an organized essay of 700-900 words exploring your own experiences with the topic while responding to Klass.
4) Your thesis should clearly state your viewpoint, and the body of the essay and conclusion should clearly explain your examples and reasoning.
5) Cite Klass appropriately in MLA style anywhere you use their ideas in your essay.
6) Format the response paper using MLA style page formattingLinks to an external site.
