This can be something in your work unit, in your community, in your state, or even at the national level. This issue will become a part of a larger paper you will develop throughout this class and a video for your peers to review. So, consider your issue carefully (See resources below).
- Describe how this issue affects health outcomes, including describing the most affected population.
- Explain why it is important for nurses to advocate for policy change related to this issue (see the resources below)

You will need at least 1 current (past 5 years) article from nursing literature (journal article) to support your position and initial thoughts about change
