Purpose: The purpose of this week’s assignment is to examine and describe in detail the origins, causes, main ideas and protagonists of the Protestant Reformation and identify and explain the Reformation’s implications for Christianity and the modern world. 
On the basis of this week’s material, create a 12-slide presentation 1) explaining the origins of the Protestant Reformation; 2) describing the most significant moments of Martin Luther and his life and one other Reformation figure; and 3) analyzing the religious, societal, political, and economic implications of the European Reformations for Christianity and the modern world.
You can use PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides for this assignment.

The first slide should include one image, the title of your presentation, your name and last name, and the title of the course.
Slide 2 to 11 should include one image and your key points.
Use slide 2 to provide a succinct, clear, and exhaustive definition of “Reformation” (singular).
Use slide 2 to define the Protestant Reformation with beginning and ending dates for the event.
Use slide 3 to historically situate the Protestant Reformation. Explain the origins of the Protestant Reformation and list the main causes.
Dedicate slide 4-6 to introduce Martin Luther:
Provide a biographical sketch of Luther in slide 4.
Use slide 5 to present Luther’s main theological tenets.
Include Luther’s doctrine of the Eucharist or Lord’s Supper in slide 6.
Dedicate slide 7-8 to introduce one other influential personality in the Protestant Reformation. Provide a biographical sketch and their theological differences with Luther.
Dedicate slide 9 to the English Reformation, making sure to explain the circumstances or reasons for the reformation movement in England.  
Dedicate slide 10 to the Catholic Reformation and list the main results of the Council of Trent.
Use slide 11 to detail the religious, societal, political and economic consequences of the Protestant Reformation. How has this movement impacted the modern world?
