Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to give you practice in using a formal assessment tool with couples.
Instructions: Conduct the following assessments:

Note. You may give both assessments to the same couple or you may use two different couples.
Have participants complete the following consent form:

Conduct and score each assessment.
Please note that partners are to take the assessment separately. Typically they are given a separate clipboard and may even fill out the assessment in different rooms.
Provide participants with the results from their assessment and feedback. (Note. It is not appropriate for you to provide counseling for the couple. If you feel they need more support, provide them with a referral.)
Complete an assessment report discussing the results of the two assessments in one document:
