Purpose
As you have learned and will continue to learn, there are a number of factors that impact criminal behavior. This lesson examined the neurological and biological factors associated with criminal behavior. The purpose of this assignment is to explore and examine the answers of direct or indirect relation of biological and neurological factors that contribute to criminal behavior.
Instructions
Imagine that as an expert on the biological and neurological antecedents of criminal behavior, you have been asked to prepare an FAQ (list of frequently asked questions and their answers) for medical students. You will give a brief, evidence-based answer to their questions. Often, the answers to their questions will involve conflicting evidence, as research in this area is ongoing. Where the answer is controversial, you may express your own opinion as long as you are able to support that with evidence-based research.
For the purpose of this assignment, you will also develop the questions. Develop five questions, addressing each of the following areas:
The direct or indirect relation of biological and neurological factors to criminal behavior,
The impact of environmental toxins in the air and water on aggressive behavior in children, and how that might impact later criminal behavior,
Brain structure and development and its relation to aggression and criminal behavior,
The social responsibility that health care providers have to prevent environmental toxins, and
One question of your own choice.
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title or reference pages. APA citation style.
References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly references.
Also my topic for my final assignment is homicide is that is needed. I have also attached the articles and the chapter that were use for this unit, in case they were helpful.
