Psilocybin (magic mushrooms) is emerging as a novel treatment for mental health conditions, and in addition the recreational use of magic mushrooms is increasing. Several online stores are now selling magic mushrooms on-line in Canada, and appear to be tolerated as a pseudo-legal “grey market”. This all combines into a need for good public education on the use of magic mushrooms.
Unlike alcohol and cannabis, low-risk harm reduction guidelines do not yet exist for psilocybin. Please create a one page public education poster: Magic Mushrooms–What you need to know. It is a public education poster, so some graphics are permissible, and the document can be poster or legal size instead of letter size as long as it all together on one “page”.Your poster should have: a description of what they are, their effects, as well as any harm reduction information such as risks/adverse experiences and how to reduce the risks. Any known possible benefits of use should also be mentioned. Keep it simple and bullet points are allowed.
Remember it is a public education poster. While the poster is one page only, I would like you to include along with the poster but separately a bibliography citing where you got your information. I attached some slides by my professor about magic mushroom which might be very helpful.
Requirements: 1 page
