Five Year Trajectory Plan
-submit a 5-year personal trajectory plan that outlines, based on the pillars of teaching, service, scholarship and
practice and congruent with competencies in the specialty track.
Assignment Criteria:
-develop a narrative scholarly paper that includes the following criteria:
1. Provide an analysis of yourself as scholar, project developer, leader and practitioner as an educator.
2. Discuss professional growth and career opportunities.
3. Identify talents and strengths in an educator role.
4. Identify additional knowledge and skills needed as an educator.
5. Develop three goals for the next two to five years; one goal will be in the area of teaching, one in scholarship and one in
service.
6. Discuss the actions can be taken to achieve each of these goals. Include a timetable for achieving each goal.
7. This scholarly paper should be (3) pages excluding the title page and reference page.
8. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement and a conclusion.
9. Reflective paper can be written in the first person.
10- Include a minimum of five (5) references from professional peer-reviewed journals to support the paper
11. APA format is required.
