Follow these guidelines as you work on the final drafts of your research paper. When I grade your papers, I will be looking to see that you have fulfilled the following requirements:
Your research paper must not include your own opinions or personal experiences.
You must follow revise your paper according to the comments that I have made on your rough draft.
Your paper is persuasive/argumentative. It is not informative.
Include a clear thesis at the end of your introduction to reveal your topic and argument.
You must include quotes to support your points. The quotes should be the same quotes that you have included from the prewriting activity for Paper #4. You should have a total of five sources. The sources should be the same sources that you have used in Paper #3: Annotated Bibliography. You cannot use the Internet directly – only use the SSC library databases.

You should include at least one quote from each of your five sources.
You must provide a works cited page and general citations in your paper in MLA format.
Be sure to follow the correct citations for your works cited page (see the Little Seagull Handbook).
Your entire paper must be five full pages of writing, double-spaced, Times New Roman 12 point font. Your works cited page would be considered page six.
Provide a solid concluding paragraph that wraps up your main points.
You must do your own work. In addition, the use of AI and/or Chat GPT is prohibited, as this is also considered plagiarism, and it is unethical.
Unfortunately, late work will not be accepted since it is the end of the semester. Please plan ahead.
