The final paper should include the following:
Introduction: (1.5 – 2 succinct pages)
Provide background information of the clinical problem to be examined. 
Describe any controversy or current limitations that your review will address  
Identify the Research Question/Problem Statement
Include a well worded clinical question that can be answered with research evidence.  
Your question should use the PICO framework which defines: Population (P), Intervention (I), Comparison group (C), and Outcome (O).  
This must be approved by the instructor prior to conducting your review. 
Identify the significance to your chosen healthcare field. 
State the purpose of this review. This is a concise statement regarding the aim of your review which flows from the problem and its significance for health and wellness. 
You should have a minimum of 3 appropriate sources cited for your background information/conclusion. 
Body: (2- 3 succinct pages) 
Describe your search methods:  
Describe your systematic search for evidence utilizing library databases.  
Include details about your search strategies and key terms to locate previous quantitative research studies.  
Your search should be limited to peer reviewed journal articles published. 
Describe how you selected the three quantitative articles included in your review. 
Synthesize and summarize results  
Compare and contrast the literature 
How were the studies the same? Different? 
Identify the methods, common variables, and results 
Identify the uncommon features and results 
Do not report on each study individually 
Include an objective and organized analysis or line of reasoning that helps to answer your research question. 
Conclusion (1 to 2 succinct page) 
After reviewing the 3 studies, discuss your answer to the research question.  
Write a closing conclusion that summarizes and synthesizes the evidence presented in your review.  
Identify the implications of your conclusions for health professionals. 
Discuss your recommendations for future research.  
You should have a minimum of 3 appropriate sources cited for your background information/conclusion.
