Be sure to add more content to ensure you include all the elements listed below. I encourage you to use section headers as they will guide you as you are writing and will guide the reader.
In this assessment, you will develop a case study research report based upon the examples you have reviewed and mirroring the methodology of one you select as a model. The case study will assess the leadership challenges of the organization you have selected and determine the best strategy to overcome the challenges while maintaining or improving market position and competitiveness based upon the information that is accessible to you.
A case study research report includes a review of the literature, theoretical and/or conceptual framework, and an outcome or conclusion based on the evaluation included within the report. Throughout this program you have been reading articles on case studies about leadership. Now it is your turn to combine what you have learned with your assessment of leadership styles, leadership issues, and strategies by providing a review of the literature and an in-depth evaluation of the styles, issues, and challenges of global leaders. As you choose the organization to evaluate, please keep in mind you need to have the necessary data to communicate the challenges and market position/competitiveness. Keep in mind that you will use the methodology of one of the case studies you reviewed during the literature review.
Within the deliverable itself you will practice a level of research, analysis, and evaluation similar to portions of your dissertation; however, this will not be that length or depth yet. In your case study, you will assess the leadership challenges of the organization(s) of your choice. Through your research you will analyze the executive leadership strategies demonstrated within the organization(s) and document the best strategies used by these organization(s) to overcome challenges while maintaining or improving market position and competitiveness. Your conclusions should be informed significantly by the literature review you have already completed on the theories and practices of effective executive leadership and the professional literature on the practices used in your organizational research completed in this competency.
Leadership strategy and challenges were identified and conclusions were consistent with the practices and theories of global leadership and strategies for growth.
MASTERY
Outstanding identification of leadership challenges and conclusions were based on global leadership theory, which was supported by the research.
PROFICIENT
Leadership challenges were  identified,  conclusions were adequate, and both were based on theories and practices of global leadership strategies for growth.
DEVELOPING
Leadership challenges were adequately  identified but the conclusions were not based on theories and practices of global leadership strategies for growth.
EMERGING
Few leadership challenges were identified and the conclusions were not based on theories and practices of global leadership strategies for growth.
NOT EVIDENT
Did not submit or there was no evidence that the student understood the assignment.
Comments
You touched on some strategies and challenges. As you go back and add more content, your score will move to the Mastery level. Be sure to add more than two sentences in your conclusion. At the doctoral level, a paragraph should consist of at least three sentences. You mentioned a strategy of assuming leadership. Additional additional strategies can help you move to the Mastery level. You mentioned a challenge of creating reusable rockets and spacecrafts and competing with old and established aerospace corporations and newcomers. This is great. I want to see more strategies.
