you will appreciate, I have completed this paper but during my second read edit
of the content I figured that I needed to #redo the potion of STRESS and
IMMUNOLOGICAL INFLUENCE ON MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER. The second document that
I’ve included titled “Depression assignment 1” notes has some of the
notes that I have taken that I would like to be rewarded and reorganized to be

HOW TO ORGANIZE
1. I would like to start off by an introduction into the role
of stress towards major depressive disorder.
2. Then using a schematic diagram of the hpa Axis and
explaining the compoents discuss the dysregulation of the HPA axis in times of
stress.
3. After that I would like to include molecular changes
that would be seen in the prefrontal cortex, hippocampus and the
amygdala.
4. Discuss SMA axis briefly
5. Write a conclusion summarising what next steps need to be
taken in research when it comes to stress

Based upon the textbook and other prescribed reading material, but augmented by your wider reading, describe the pathways to Major Depressive Disorder made by each of the following four contributors to depression: genes, neurotransmitters, stress (including brain changes), and immunological factors. You may use diagrams to support your descriptions of the pathways you choose. A major assessment criteria will be how well you describe the pathways that the contributors follow to instigate depressive behaviour, plus the reasons why that depressive behaviour might occur due to certain environmental factors. Write a conclusion summarising what next steps need to be taken in research into these four contributors.
