Babin and Harris (2022) defined consumer satisfaction as, “a mild, positive emotion resulting from a favorable appraisal of a consumption outcome,” (p. 304). Consumer dissatisfaction is the negative emotion regarding a purchase outcome and is sometimes referred to as “buyer’s remorse.”
Discuss the impact of consumer dissatisfaction for future purchases with the same company.
Identify an example of a purchase you made and later regretted the purchase.
What action did you take, if any?
Would you be willing to purchase from the company in the future? Why or why not?
