People-watching is a great part of marketing! For the final project, you will complete an observational study.
Go to any physical store; choose two distinct products on two different aisles.
Observe the buying behaviors of those who are buying the product(s) for 5 minutes.
For example, who is involved in making the decision (parent, child)? What external factors (lighting, music) may have influenced the person’s buying decision?
Be sure to observe from a distance!
How is the decision being made? Are they reading labels? On the phone? Does it seem as though the color and/or design of the packaging is a factor? Is the consumer making comments as they are deciding?
Once the data are gathered, the central focus of the paper will be applying how the observed characteristics were used in making a buying decision.
At a minimum, your paper should contain the following sections:

Observation for Product 2
Analysis
Develop your analysis on what you observed as it relates to the course materials. Use 3-5 concepts from the previous modules. For instance, Module 4 is internal influences.
Include a minimum of 4 credible resources in addition to the text.
Evaluation
