Pick a scene from one of the films that we have watched in its entirety up to this point for class. In a two-page paper: break it down and thoroughly analyze it. Consider cinematography, framing, special effects, directing, acting, screenwriting, sound, editing, camera placement/movement,
What does the scene mean? How does it come together, or what style is it in? Who made it and why? How does it fit into the rest of the film? Consider the scene historically: what historical points or themes can be read from it? A film may still be included, but it does not count as writing.
Reviewing the Grading Rubric as grammar and organization will be considered part of the grade. Papers must be two pages, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, with one-inch margins. Cite sources in the text and a bibliography in either MLA or Chicago Style.
