Reflection papers should reflect a personalized commentary, including,
(a) Comparisons or Contrasts: Summarize similarities or differences in themes from different readings.
(b) Methodological and Analytical Questions: Discuss key questions about how the readings approach their methods and identify problems for future research.
(c) Unaddressed Issues: Point out any important issues that the authors didn’t fully cover and discuss why they’re worth exploring.
(d) Applied Practice: Share any findings from the readings that could be useful in real-world applications.
(e) Personal Connections: Relate theoretical concepts to your own life experiences to illustrate and explain them.
(f) Media Stories: Use stories from media to explain theoretical aspects from the readings.
(g) Connecting Theories: Show how the readings’ theories link or complement other theories you’ve studied before.
Make sure you reflect personally and critically; don’t just summarize what you’ve read.
Reflections should be complete with an introduction and conclusion piece. Reflections must be typed using 12pt Arial font and 1-inch margins. Reflections must be typed using APA format and should not exceed 2 pages double-spaced.
