Part I:
B. Medications Goals
Describe the integration of case-based complexities when caring for and prescribing medications for a patient using polypharmacological agents.
Part II: Writing the Journal Entry
Using the rubric, develop each section of the rubric (use headings to stay organized):
Goal/Learning Objective
Academic Resources
Cultural Knowledge
Education
Challenges
Discuss in detail the points in the rubric with at least one to two paragraphs or more, be specific, and explain the reasoning behind your talking points. Again, the use of AI to write this paper will result in course failure APA format is expected (title page, double-spaced, reference page, etc.)
Part III: Review the Paper
After submission of the paper, review your Turnitin score and the ETS, and correct areas of concern. Students can upload their paper several times to check the Turnitin score prior to the due date.
Carl Jung used journaling in an attempt at understanding the “inner mind” and its workings. In this exercise, you are to write and submit in each unit a journal that will be focused on your evolution in the professional role. The work is to be introspective and would include your own evaluation of your professional strengths, weaknesses, or needs, and specific learning moments or the “ah-ha, I’ve found it”. You should evaluate your responses to thoughts, feelings, actions, and consequences of interactions during your clinical experience.
The journal will be a part of your portfolio and should be only professionally focused. Do not put personal experiences or feelings that you would not want to share with a prospective employer. The journaling assignment is an opportunity to reflect on your experience. The assignment provides a direct opportunity for you to communicate with your instructor issues that you feel demonstrate your growth as a nurse practitioner.
