Part A Instructions
The written portion of your post-test is to be done in essay format and submitted as a Microsoft Word attachment only (no other file types or methods will be eligible for grading)
Your essay should be written in APA, 7th edition format with a body that is a minimum of 2 pages long (please note that the body does not include the cover page and reference page of the essay)
Your essay should be supported by an appropriate amount of credible sources that are fit for scholarly use, such as peer-reviewed academic journals. If you need any help finding sources, you can access the online databases from our library by clicking here
Make sure your essay has full and complete in-text citations for your sources throughout (with author(s), year of publication, and page numbers, where applicable)
Your essay should address all items within a single document
This written portion of your post-test will be graded according to the rubric you can find on its assignment page (with the overall post-test grade being a combination of the scores that are earned from Part A and Part B)
To complete the written portion of this post-test, write an essay that fully addresses the following items:
PROJECT INITIATION AND IDEA GENERATION: Identify a challenge or opportunity in a real-world organization that requires an innovation solution. Please figure something out about PSJA ISD/Special Education Department.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (psjaisd.us) https://www.psjaisd.us/departments/special-education-department
PROJECT PLANNING: Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining the project’s goals, objectives, scope, timeline, and resources required.
Part B Instructions
Please note that before you can proceed any further with your project, you must have this form signed to indicate that the organization you work for or have selected has approved you conducting research based on the issue(s), challenge(s), or opportunity you have identified. The form can be an electronic signature or you can print it out and have them sign it. Either way, you will need to include the signed version of this form with your post-test. (Please make sure to update this form accordingly–> I already filled out some of it)
The proposal portion of your post-test should be fully completed and signed
Once you have completed your proposal, include an image of your completed form with your essay as a Figure, according to APA (7th edition) formatting style
The figure should be included in your paper in its entirety, with it being placed on its own separate page after your references list, for simplicity purposes
If the proposal is the only figure you will be using in your paper, it should be referred to as Figure 1
The image of your form may be a digital screenshot directly from your computer or a digital photo that you take from a completed hard copy (with the image being clear to see and placed appropriately in your paper, per APA (7th edition) formatting style)
Be sure to reference the figure of your proposal at least one time in your paper, as this connects the figure to your overall paper. The in-text reference can be something as simple as the following: As shown in Figure 1 or after you refer to information that can be supported by your figure in your paper, to include a note in parentheses like this (see Figure 1)
If you need any help including the image(s) of your assessment into your paper, please refer to the APA 7th edition manual and/or view some examples here–> ( https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/tables-figures/sample-figures)
This proposal portion of your post-test will be graded according to the same rubric for your essay (with the overall post-test grade being a combination of the scores that are earned from Part A and Part B)
Part A Instructions The written portion of your post-test is to be done in essay
