Imagine that you are departing on a 10-year voyage, leaving behind your preadolescent child—let’s say they are 9 years old. Your task is to compose a letter to help the child cope with the changes that will soon occur.
After completing readings and watching videos, compose this letter to your child.
Be sure to include description of biological, social, emotional, and sleep changes that your child will be facing.
Be sure to explain what pubertal timing and tempo may mean for your child’s development, as compared to their peer group.
Include a link to an example from social media (brief video clip, meme, video, etc.) to illustrate, support, or be used as a cautionary tale as related to the points that you are making in this letter. Include some description or an explanation of how this clip accomplishes these illustrative goals

The course material this week presented information about adolescent brain development. Based on the chapter and videos, should teenagers be tried as adults for delinquent or criminal acts?

Stance A: Teenagers should be tried as adults for delinquent or criminal acts.
