The start of the course had you determine your carbon footprint. Now that we are at the end of this course, you should be able to address significantly broader problems and make decisions. Many concepts mentioned in the video have been covered in this course. For this review, please list your selection of five issues that you would like to address from among those presented in the “The Coffee Trail” video. Please describe why you selected them. Please provide a brief justification of how to begin changing them.

List the top five issues presented in this video that you would address as a top decision-maker. Please rank and describe them, as well as answer the following:
Why did you select them?
How could you begin solving them?
Be sure to provide appropriate references to support your ideas and recommendations.

Compare your list of issues and their rankings to those selected by your classmates. For example, are there any similarities or significant differences?
Comment on at least two of your classmates’ posts. For example, reflect and critique the approaches and suggestions they would take to address their selected problems.

Reflective practice is a habit of master learners. Those who do not critique their performances regularly, evaluating and re-evaluating how their daily actions are shaped by their values, preferences, and perspectives will never be aware of their strengths (to capitalize on these), weaknesses (to improve), or passions (to sustain themselves). Reflection gives meaning to experience; it turns experience into practice, links past and present experiences, and prepares the individual for future practice. This written presentation will be your interpretation and philosophy of sustainability and social responsibility. There is no set standard, rubric, or required format for this presentation. This is because a personal reflection should be as individual and different as you are.
Keep in mind that many issues come with any change – particularly in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility – that impact our inner world. We must be able to continually adapt to the only constant, and that is change. This itself is difficult for most individuals. Moreover, it is an even more complex problem if you want to be a successful manager of change in today’s dynamic business environment. Effective leadership also involves cultivating the right conditions that will inspire and support change in others.
Thus, this submission is an opportunity to reflect on what can be learned from the process of changing yourself. In other words, it is not enough to simply promote the concepts of sustainability and social responsibility. Those are laudable goals to espouse, but at the same time, one cannot merely continue to do things the same way as they have been done. It is only after we change ourselves that we can deal with the problems and opportunities for achieving sustainability and/or social responsibility.
Avoid working on your essay at the very last moment and produce it in haste. Mistakes creep in when you are not attentive, focused, and organized.
