Part 1- Write your introduction paragraph including your theses statement. TThe first ssentence is the hook of your essay. It grabs the reader attention and makes them want to read more. The next few sentences provide relevant and important background informtaion about your topic. The final sentence in your intorduction paragraph is a 3 pont thesis statement that states your topic and three main ideas you will be focusing on in the article.
Part 2- draft your three body paragraphs. first sentence is your topic sentence ,use a transition and state your first main idea from your thesis statement in your introduction paragraph. add your supporting details to the paragraph. first you will include a trasition and your first supporting detail from your outline, elabroate on this details as necessary. Second you will include a transition and your second supporting detail from your outline, elaborate on theis detial as necessary. Third you will include a transition and your last supporting detail from your outline. Elaborate on this details as necssary last you will use a transiton and transition and write a statement that summarizes the points you just metioned and how they relate to your topic. Be sure to crate all 3 body paragraphs.
Part 3-draft your conclusion paragraph
The first sentence is the restatment of your thesis. be sure to use different words than you used in your intorduction paragraph
Part 4- use the revision checklist below to review your draft, make at least 5 significant revisions to improve the overall quality of you paper.These must be revisions not proofreading changes or edits.High light the text color of your revisions.
