– To explore the role of social identity in Media Influence
– To propose strategies for promoting responsible media practices and media literacy

You must review & critique a chosen academic research paper.
Topics that you should include in your essay are:
What is the paper and issue you chose, and why did you choose it?
Why is the paper and issue important?
What are the main questions, theories, methods, results, and interpretations identified in the paper?
Provide a critique – both positive and negative – of the main questions, theories, methods, results, and interpretations identified in the paper. Use the Checklist in pp. 390-391 of Leedy & Ormrod (2019) as a guide.
Ensure that you provide examples to illustrate your points.
Discuss the findings and your critique of that paper and how they relate to the research project your team is conducting?
Discuss how the critique has affected your perspective on the issue and provide recommendations for future action/research.
Don’t forget to include a clear introduction and purpose statement!
Your essay will be a minimum of 4 pages in length (5 pages max), double spaced. It must also include an additional cover page.
Your essay will be formatted according to APA style, including in-text citations and a References page.
