PROMPT: Given what we know about Transnational Organized Crime (TOC), Criminal motivations, The Dark Web, The Deep Web, Cybercrime, The Black Market, Strain Theory, Social/Political Hierarchies… and what we know about Terrorism… you will create a Presentation.  The presentation should include a PP/Slides or be a podcast with visuals and MUST include you “presenting” it via youtube, Yuja or some other platform. 
SOURCES: You will need to use a minimum of three sources in order to prepare your presentation. You may use the sources I have provided, as well as journal articles, government or educational websites. All of the sources you use need to be cited in MLA format. Make sure you keep track of any sites, texts, articles, videos, etc. that you use!
TASK: Select an organized crime group or member
WHAT: Prepare: a 10-15 minute presentation in PowerPoint or Google Slides/Docs.  You will create a presentation and then record your presentation.  This can be done within the slides or another platform.

History & Background: When and where did the group form? Who were the original founders or leaders? How many members now? PROFILE the group / PROFILE the MEMBER 
Use Profiling Methodology for Logic Continuum (Inductive, Abductive, Deductive reasoning) 
Organized Methods: How is their group structured? How does the group fund their activities? What is their connection to organized crime and transnational crime? 
Hierarchy and Flow : Pictographic or image 
Recruitment: How are individuals recruited to the organization? 
Propaganda: What methods are used to spread their message?
Connections: How is the group connected to governments or other political entities? 
ANALYSIS : So what? Now what? 
Treatment / Cessation: What has been done in order to try to disrupt, dismantle or take-down this group? By who? How? 
Theory:  What theory explains the crimes or the group?
Impacts of the organization: Who is affected? How? What is the cost? Geographic impact? Economic? Political? Etc. 
Longevity / Use: Why should / do we study this group/person as a case in CRJ? What can future students learn from the study of this case or subject?
