Introduction
At this point, you have completed the first and second of three assignments, Individuals As Leaders in Unit 3 and Team Leadership in Unit 6. Now, you will address the third assignment in the sequence, Organizational Leadership. This is the third and final of three related assignments.
Unit 3 – Part 1: Individuals As Leaders (Units 1, 2, and 3). (Complete).
Unit 6 – Part 2: Team Leadership (Units 4, 5, and 6). (Complete).
Unit 9 – Part 3: Organizational Leadership (Units 7, 8, and 9).
Part 3 will include an executive summary section that pulls together the conclusions and main points of your research from Parts 1, 2, and 3.
Instructions
Leadership Theory
This assignment focuses on the assigned readings and discussions in Units 7, 8, and 9, plus an executive summary including key points from the assignments in Units 3 and 6. The first half of the assignment addresses the primary areas of:
Authentic leadership, ethics, and why diversity matters.
The power of organization culture, values alignment, and the leadership role.
Transformational versus transactional versus charismatic leadership: where are they effective and why?
Strategic leadership: Strategy evaluation, formulation, and execution.
Leading change: Links to strategy, the need for change, building commitment, and the leader’s role in managing the change process.
In this first portion of the assignment, describe the primary elements of leadership theory covered in Units 7, 8, and 9, including supporting evidence.
Team Leadership: Application of Leadership Theory
The second half of this assignment is the application of leadership theory to your selected business leader. Which elements of theory apply or do not apply? How well can you support your conclusions based on your research? As a minimum:
Evaluate demonstrated leadership competencies and effectiveness of a selected leader, including leader’s ability to apply data analysis.
Describe theory-supported success factors exhibited by your selected leader.
Include a two-page (400–600 words) executive summary that presents conclusions and key points of your research from Parts 1, 2, and 3.
The level 1 headings in your paper should at a minimum address:
Introduction.
Leadership Theory. (Use level 2 headings to guide the reader.)
Team Leadership: Application of Leadership Theory. (Use level 2 headings to guide the reader.)
Conclusion.
Executive Summary
In this section, present the conclusions and main points of your research from Parts 1, 2, and 3.
Option: Please consider using embedded video links in your assignment document to assist in supporting your arguments in theory and application to your selected leader.
Assignment Objectives
To complete this assignment successfully, you must meet the following objectives:
Describe relevant organizational leadership concepts, related theories, and supporting evidence.
Evaluate demonstrated leadership competencies and effectiveness of a selected leader, including his or her ability to apply data analysis.
Describe theory-supported success factors exhibited by a selected leader.
Present conclusions and key points from the assignments in Units 3, 6, and 9 in an executive summary.
Communicate in a manner that is scholarly, professional, and consistent with expectations for members of professional contexts.

Your assignment should meet the following requirements:
Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA format: Follow current APA guidelines for style and format, including a cover page and headings.
References: A minimum of six resources on your selected leader and his or her organization.
Length: A minimum of 2400 words.
Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
