Review the additional DHS resources provided in this module to better understand the agencies responsible for homeland security in the United States, including intelligence, defense, and security communities.

Your post should address the following:
Explain the difference between antiterrorism and counterterrorism and how those differences impact efforts towards achieving homeland security.
Next, based upon a review of the National Strategies for Counterterrorism used by DHS and the organizational components. List at least one agency within DHS that works to mitigate each threat listed below and what are their operational actions to each. The agencies will vary dependent upon the threat provided. Seek the best fit operationally and state why, based upon each component’s capabilities.
