(OPTION#1 FROM THE FILE UPLOADED.)Write according to the following questions that the reflective paper is asking for: Out of all the theories of human nature we have examined in the class, which one do you agree with the
most? In this paper, you should begin by explaining in detail the philosopher’s theory. Assume that your
audience knows nothing about the subject or the philosopher you are discussing. Be sure to include quotes
from the text to support your explanation of the theory. You should also give your own examples to illustrate
the ideas you are presenting. After you have thoroughly explained the philosopher’s views, you will give the
reasons why you agree with that view. Be sure that these are reasons that anyone can understand, whether or
not they share your religious background, political beliefs, or personal tastes. Of course your beliefs and
opinions may inspire your agreement with the philosopher, but you want to try to persuade your reader to
agree with you, and to do so, it is best to assume that your reader doesn’t share your beliefs. Imagine that you
are a lawyer and try to give evidence to support your views. Finally, after your group presentation, you should
explain a few objections to your view that were raised by your audience, and then end your paper by replying
to these objections, again trying to convince your reader to agree with you.
Paper Requirments:
the paper should total approximately 5 double-spaced pages. As stated above,
these pages will include: (A) your explanation of a philosopher’s view, including quotes and your own
examples illustrating that view, (B) a complete explanation of why you agree or disagree with the philosopher,
and an attempt to persuade any reader to agree with you, (C) an explanation of objections raised during your
group’s presentation, and (D) your response to these objections, again trying to convince your audience to
agree with you.
You will need to use at least 3 source in addition to the Roussea reading done in class in addition to those we read in class to: (1) explain the view you are
agreeing or disagreeing with, and/or (2) provide evidence to convince your audience to agree with you. You
may use a broad range of sources, as long as you can confirm that it is a reliable source. Every paper, no
matter what sources used, must cite all quotations and paraphrases, and must include a works cited page
