One Abstract and One Annotation
Abstract
Requirements:
Title the Abstract: Annotated Bibliography:
“Your Working Research Question.”
The abstract should be 150 words total, written in
one paragraph.
The abstract should appear as the first page of
the bibliography, formatted in MLA Manuscript Style
The abstract should address these ideas in a
complete paragraph:

What
is the problem you’re exploring through research?
·
Why
are you interested in the problem?
·
Who
does the problem impact the most?
·
Who
will be your imagined audience/reader (Who has the ability to make the changes
or advocate for the solution you will argue for)?
·
Your
proposed solution or questions that you need to answer to get to the solution.

Is it safe to eat a vegetarian diet while pregnant?
· My essay will reveal
that being a vegetarian while pregnant is completely safe, and no harm will
come to either the mother or the child simply because the mother has a
vegetarian diet. I have been a vegetarian since I was 16 years old and
since no one in my family is a vegetarian, I have had to learn how to eat in a
healthy way on my own. Because of that, I have gathered a tremendous
amount of knowledge about vegetarianism. Recently, I found out that my
wife, who is also a vegetarian, is pregnant. I was surprised at how many
people asked us if she would start eating meat out of concern for the health of
our developing child. I didn’t realize that so many people believed that
a vegetarian diet would cause malnutrition and thus potentially cause harm to
our developing child. Since both my wife and I know how to create
complete proteins and get all the necessary nutrients through our vegetarian
diet, we know that all of us, even our child-to-be, can be as healthy, if not
healthier, as meat-eaters.
One of the elements you will write about for each of your Annotated
Bibliography entries is credibility. You will explain why each of your
sources is credible by examining the content and publication information of
your articles.
Remember, when you are citing an article from the database, you need to cite both the journal it was published in (Container 1) AND the database it was found on (Container 2).)
