This assessment is the student’s opportunity to demonstrate understanding of professional accountability and how it impacts decisions, actions, and behaviour essential in the role of nursing. This assessment will be based on a case study scenario (video) which will be available on vUWS under the assessment tab on the left hand side of the menu under assessment 2. After extensive group discussions regarding the scenario, each group will produce a presentation during class time (week 10). Make sure you include a short summary of the case study, an introduction of the group, and objectives of your presentation.
You can exercise creativity in making this presentation. It can be presented as an interview, as a Q & A session, a role play, or any creative way as long as all key areas 1 to 4 below are addressed.
