Give a brief description of your process: how did you decide what text from the course you wanted to adapt? How did you decide what from the original work you wanted to keep and what you wanted to change? How did you decide what genre, medium, or format you wanted to adapt to?
Speak to how you navigated any creative limitations posed by either the imitation aspect of the process or the adaptation aspect: for instance, what creative limitations do the elements of the original text pose? How did you problem-solve to navigate those limitations? Alternatively, what creative limitations did the new format, medium, or genre pose? How did you problem-solve to navigate those limitations? What creative opportunities arose from this adaptation?
Finally, reflect on the relationship between literacy and worldview as well as your attainment of your learning goals in this course: looking back at journal 1, reflect on your literacy practices and what you indicated they say about your worldview or schema. How has that understanding of the relationship between literacy and worldview shifted or been affirmed through this creative adaptation process? How specifically has this process enabled you to build skills related to your learning/academic goals, major/career goals, and/or personal/community goals?
