Must be written from a nurses point of view.
to discuss background of the selected topic: potential complications and
impact on the patient and family, potential medical and nursing care for the
selected topic, create a teaching plan by selecting one priority nursing
diagnosis (this could also be psychosocial) and provide rationales please
include at least 3 interventions; and the impact the diet will have on their
life and those around them
Paper requirements:
Follow 7th ed. APA, if you have any questions about APA
formatting, please reach out to resources such as the writing center or
refer to the Owl APA website located at https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/ to
guide you.
Minimum of 3 pages, no longer than 5
pages (I will stop reading at the end of the 5th page). The title and reference pages are not
included in the 3 to 5 page count.
Use a minimum of 3 scholarly resources
but include no more than 7 references. Your own work should make up
the majority of the paper. Your
textbooks may be used as a reference, but no more than one of your sources
may come from your textbooks.
References can also be
from scholarly resources & journals
published within the past 5 years. If
there are questions or you need to use resources beyond this time frame come to
me for special approval.
Use headings to separate sections of your
paper when appropriate (see my example paper).
Carefully review and follow the APA
checklist and rubric criteria to ensure you receive a proper grade (See
end of this document).
All work is to be done individually and
will be in the student’s own words with the exception of properly cited
sources. Any evidence of
plagiarism will result in an immediate grade of zero for the assignment.
