Purpose
Effective delegation supports positive outcomes. As a master’s-prepared advance practice nurse leader, you will be responsible for proper delegation of team work and patient care that enhances positive health care outcomes. For this assignment complete a video of you role playing, as the nurse leader, delegating a task or assignment to one of your subordinates or peers (the camera will be used as the individual you are delegating to).

Assignment Instructions
Please note – the intent of the video portion of the assignment is to videotape yourself delegating the information (Consider the camera the individual you are delegating to). This is role playing. No PowerPoint or other media should be used to deliver the information in the video. The recording must include you presenting information face to face with the camera.

Part I: Refer to the Canvas assignment page titled “Part I”.
Part II: Using Microsoft Word 2013, create the summary paper for the assignment. Include a title page with your name, date, and course information, as well as a reference page.
The summary paper must be concisely written and a minimum of three (3) pages in length (excluding title and reference pages).
A minimum of two (2) peer-reviewed scholarly sources, current within five years, are required.
Sources older than five years may not be used without the permission of the class professor.
No direct quotes may be used in this assignment.
