LITERATURE
REVIEW PAPER. Students will complete a 3- page paper, which
will be used to evaluate your mastery
of the course objectives. The paper will require
you to apply theoretical information
and research findings in adolescent psychology.
Students can choose their paper topic. The paper should be formatted
in APA, and should
include a title page and a references
page, in addition to the 3- full pages of written
text.
The paper must include
information from at least five references from peer-reviewed
journal articles, and references
should be cited using APA format. If you fail to cite the
work of another author you will
receive a zero on the paper for plagiarism. (See the
Academic Integrity statement in this
syllabus for a full description of what constitutes
plagiarism). You MUST write your paper
for this class; any paper that was submitted to
another class will not be accepted for
this assignment. Your originality score should be
around 5% or less to avoid losing
points. Papers will be submitted electronically, as Word
documents, using the “Final Paper”
link under the Paper tab in Canvas. A grading rubric
can be found on Canvas, clearly articulating grading criteria. Make sure to review all of
the material in the “Modules” folder. You may submit your paper up
to 2 days late, but
10 points will be deducted for each
day. All assignments must be submitted as a Word
(.doc or .docx) document.
