THEORY OF THE PROBLEM
PTSD affects many veterans who encounter traumatic events while in service, whether combat or otherwise in instances such as military sexual trauma. These traumatic events while in service can lead to PTSD symptoms like hyper-vigilance, nightmares, anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts to name a few.
THEORY OF CHANGE
One of the many goals of the Trauma Recovery Program(TRP) is that it aims to identify and challenge patterns of negative thoughts and behaviors through different forms of treatment. TRP focuses on identifying problems and building solutions to enhance overall health.
