Literary Analysis Essay
Compare and contrast the two out of the three main characters in the stories we read in class (“The Story of an Hour”, “The Yellow Wallpaper” and “A Rose for Emily”). Analyse what the experiences of these characters tell us about being a woman in the late 1800s – early 1900s.
What do we learn about being a woman from looking at these two characters?
Give clear examples from the text to support your analysis.
In what way are they similar/different? Why are these similarities and differences interesting and what can we learn from them?
(atleast 3-4 preferences to the texts)
Remember the structure of an essay as well as the PEEL-structure when you write.
