Length: about 10-12 pages for full report, excluding references/appendixes. Strongest reports are generally 12-14+ pages.

Usual lengths of final reports (text only not “after” materials): the very shortest reports are on average about 10 typed pages and longest about 12-14 typed pages of text, on average, excluding references/appendixes.
Research:
You must integrate at least 3 sources for each of your three main questions in the report. The entire report MUST include at least 10 different sources cited, in any of the 4 parts. This is bare minimum; the very best submissions aim for well beyond the 3 minimum sources integrated.
Total sources in your Ref/Bib listings at end of report—add your References and Bibliography pages to total the minimum 15 (most students have well beyond this for their total combining Ref/Bib pages)
References page — at least 10 sources listed minimally cited any place in Parts 1-4 of the report (may be many more than that)
Bibliography page—depends on how many in your reference page (to total 15 min). The sources on this page should be those consulted/read but not cited in the report. There should be NO repetition of the sources from your References page.
NOTE on Sources: Many of your total 15 minimum sources should be peer reviewed or refereed researched articles/sources; included also as acceptable would be authoritative websites, media, podcasts, interviews, videos, documents, newspapers, blogs,–but these all, too, must be authoritative and purposeful. No maximum limit on sources.
Emphasizing once again–ALL sources must be AUTHORITATIVE, especially for those topics that may less “academic” and more commercially/technically oriented for their research/information. Make sure you are vetting your own resources well!
