Directions:
Abstract should answer the 4 questions listed on the abstract handout in the Week 6 module. These will give an overview of the process that was used to create the paper as well as a brief overview of the paper’s content.

The history section should cover all pertinent points on the background of your topic in a way that is easy for the reader to understand. A clear narrative of the history should be provided. The personal position section should cover your reasons for your position. A minimum of two arguments are required. The arguments must be made using persuasive techniques. Your rationale must make sense and be an in-depth and thorough explanation of your position. The counterclaims/rebuttals section must contain a minimum of two counterclaims. These claims must be logically and thoroughly explained – why would people take these opposing positions? Each counterclaim must be paired with a convincing rebuttal from you. The rebuttal must be a logical, thorough explanation that discounts the opposing argument. A minimum of three different sources must be included and cited properly, whether using summary from a source or direct quotations. Formal grammar and style conventions should be followed.
The conclusion must be a 1-2 paragraph summary of the history, your position, and the counterclaims. You must include a concluding technique at the end of the conclusion. Formal grammar and style conventions should be followed.
