aspects of correlational analyses. As you work through the assignment, you will
have the opportunity to compute and evaluate independent samples t tests
and examine important elements of correlational analyses.

using Excel or JASP (your choice).
3. Compute the correlation between motivation and GPA and
examine the significance at the .05 level (e.g., two-tailed test). (2 pts)

Questions 6 – 12:
You’re interested in differences in a Sales Performance
Survey due to Training Status. Specifically, you want to know if employees that
have been trained have a higher mean Sales Performance Survey than employees
that have not been trained. Complete the full hypothesis testing process as
described in Chapter 12 to examine this question and draw all appropriate
conclusions. Using either JASP or Excel (your choice) to compute the

JASP document for help. When applicable, provide a screenshot and/or copy and
paste your findings into your assignment document (be sure I can see the
numbers and labels clearly).
Here are the steps you need to complete –
6. Right now, you have no idea what the numbers in the group
column mean, it only says 1 and 2. Before you get started, fix the group
column. You could go into Excel and rename all of those to Untrained and
Trained or use the JASP option to change the labels. Change group 1 to be
Untrained and change group 2 to Trained. (2 pts)
