Introduction: include the age and gender of the person that you interviewed, but not their name or other identifying information.
Summary of the interview: The summary should be written as several paragraphs, not as questions with the answers below. You do not need to include all the answers, and/or all the details discussed in the interview, only what you found most interesting and most relevant to the assignment.
Research: Based on the interviewee’s answers and experiences, choose a minimum of two aging-related topics, that have also been covered by the course content, to research further. Start with a brief description of the body systems involved in these two issues, and then in more detail, explain how aging is causing physiological changes to those body systems. You may include one or two relevant images if doing so adds value to your paper (optional). If you do, list the source below the image (url), and refer to the image within the text (example: “As seen in the above figure…..”
Conclusion: reflect on what you have learned from this interview project and how you may apply this knowledge to your own life as you plan for successful aging.
Your assignment should be fully paraphrased in your own words, your own writing style, and structure. Changing a few words in a sentence copied from an information source is not fully paraphrasing. Content from the course materials and outside sources either needs to be fully paraphrased or quotation marks need to be added before and after the copied text, followed by an in-text citation. A general rule of thumb is no more than 10% direct quotes in an assignment.
