Instructions
Write a paper about the five core components of CRT and how they can be leveraged in your teaching or supervision. The four main bullet points that follow correspond to the grading criteria for this assignment:
Describe the five core components of CRT.
Provide support for each of the five components with at least one relevant example that connects real-life experience to the literature.
Explain how the future implications of CRT as discussed in the 2009 Hartlep article (linked in the resources) can be integrated into your own teaching, supervision, and learning.
Share your own experiences in teaching and supervision and relate your experiences to how you envision the CRT perspective influencing your style and approach.
While many doctoral assignments must be written in the third person (that is, without any reference to yourself), for this criterion, you are asked to write about yourself and first-person voice is appropriate for this portion of the assignment.
Write content clearly and logically, following the rules of grammar, usage, and mechanics.
“Grammar’ refers to the basic rules for how sentences are constructed and how words combine to make sentences (such as word order, case, and tense).
“Usage” refers to correct word choice and phrasing, particularly with regard to the meanings of words and phrases.
“Mechanics” refers to correct use of capitalization, punctuation, and spelling.
Ensure that all sources used are properly cited and referenced using current APA style.
Remember that APA citation style includes both in-text citations and a complete list of references at the end of the paper.
Submit your paper to SafeAssign as a draft. Use your originality report to review your work and to ensure that all material that reflects the thoughts, ideas, and words of other authors is properly cited and referenced. Remember that when you submit your final assignment for your instructor to grade, it will automatically be submitted to SafeAssign one more time. Both you and your instructor will be able to see the final originality report.
Be sure to also review the rubric for this assignment for a more detailed understanding of how your assignment will be evaluated.
